MARK HARRICKS TO DDB SYDNEY CD

NZCC hears Aussie expat Mark Harricks, the multi awarded Clemenger BBDO, Wellington creative director, has been appointed creative director of DDB Sydney, filling the void left after the departure of Steve Back (to ECD of Saatchi Sydney). Harricks, who will report to national ECD and deputy chairman, Matt Eastwood, won an Integrated Lion and several Silver Lions at Cannes last year.

Harricks tells some of the funniest stories out there. If you ever find yourself in his company you must get him to tell you the one about the dude who shat himself and threw his jeans out the train window, or the one about his mate the interstate sleep-wanker, or the time he ate the spacebar...

Without a doubt some of the funniest shit you'll ever listen to.

Best of luck bro. Come back soon.

Congratulations Mark. Matt Eastwood is a sterling ECD and DDB Sydney is an exciting destination. Hope I can hear some of your stories before you go though. Lets have that drink you always threatened...
