CURIOUS FILM WINS SIR JULIUS VOGEL AWARD

Curious Film is the only Australasian production house to be recognised at this year’s Sir Julius Vogel Awards for science fiction, fantasy and horror.
Voted by the general public, the distinguished Sir Julius Vogel Awards run annually as part of the New Zealand National Science Fiction Convention in Wellington.
"We were so surprised to win this year's Sir Julius Vogel Award," says Pete Grasse, General Manager at Curious Film, "But the award represents everything we are passionate about in advertising – communication, storytelling, effectiveness, robots, quality production standards, and sci-fi and fantasy fandom."
Curious Film was nominated for its

The human robot is packed into a tiny cardboard box with a label that reads, 'Buy Kiwi Made', a concept developed by Oliver Maisey and Paul Taylor at M&C Saatchi Auckland for the New Zealand Ministry of Economic Development.
The Sir Julius Vogel Awards are administered by the Science Fiction & Fantasy Association of New Zealand, which aims to foster links between fan groups and increase public awareness of the sci-fi genre, with memberships available for NZ$10 (www.SFFANZ. org.nz).

PG, you are a legend in your own right but when I went to the site the only other thing that was nominated in your category was 'online car audio'.... what does the award that you won look like? a GI Joe spray painted silver and glued on a tennis ball?
