CORBETT CHOOSES SWEET LIFE AT SUGAR

Nigel Corbett, WRC Creative Director (pictured), is leaving on March 23 to take a shareholding in boutique independent Sugar.
WRC Managing Director Murray Reid commented: “We understand the unique nature of the Sugar ownership opportunity and wish him well. We expect to make an announcement on a replacement soon.”
DDB Group Managing Director Sharon Henderson commented: “WRC is a great agency and fills a key role within the DDB family. Our newly appointed Executive Creative Director Toby Talbot is playing a key role in the search for a replacement.”

What's the story with WRC and the World Rally Championship brand. Is it the same as the WWF ( world wildlife fund and world wrestling ) issue about 2 years ago. Anyone else know anything?

An agency is it's people, so why big-ups for the guy who was running the place, and poos for the place?

WRC is now a 'great agency'. It seems the more people that leave, the better it gets.

At this rate it will soon be a world-beater.

Agree with 5:21. The more genuinely-creative minded an agency's leaders, the 'greater' an agency becomes.

Might to time to have a look at WRC as a model of how NOT to run an agency and manage your staff.
