Cool topical ads just in time for the DVD release. Oops, after the DVD release. Why not save them for when it shows as the Colgate Sunday feature? Back page, TV Guide, perfect.

i totally agree. a touch to late. well a few months actually.

the ads say to me that big ben pies are not for lemonade sandwiches (gays), great. with a brand name like big ben you would think different.

i can not see these ads selling any more pies, actually i think they will put people off them, the pies that is.

What's the logic behind the "lemonade sandwiches" tag?

Gays in mainstream advertising, women in top jobs. What's happening to this good Christian industry?

9.59, you've inadvertently done a better line for the third execution than the existing one.
'I'd rather eat a pie than a cowboy'.
Brilliant.

What do you mean a touch to late? How does it appearing on the blog show you when it ran?

FYI These were actually done a few months ago, and yeah - it is nice that there are some fresh ads coming out of Big Ben. All puns intended.

Let's get some truth in advertising.

'Yes, we're all arse and lips, but not in that way.'

These ads ran ages ago, while the film was in theatres. For some reason it's taken ages to reach the blog.

please explain lemonade sandwich. i can't for the life of me figure it out. it's not some newfangled emo term is it?

this is how far i got:

a lemonade sandwich wold be very soggy and maybe a little bit fizzy if you ate it straight after you'd poured the lemonade on the bread. ummmmm....??? then what??? are homos soggy and a little bit fizzy when you eat them? but then again the lemonade might not be fizzy, like the american lemonade lids sell in lemonade stalls... christ this is killing me...

anyone care to take the ball from here?
